App: Marlabee’s Recipes

Marlabee’s Recipes is a recipe app with two modes: (1) signed-in family members who can create and edit content, and (2) guests who can view recipes in read-only mode.

Information we collect

• Family accounts: email address (used for sign-in and access control).
• Content you provide: recipes, attribution (first name), comments, stories, and optional photos.

How we use information

We use the information above only to operate the app (sign-in, saving content, and displaying recipes).

Guest mode

Guests can view all recipes in read-only mode. Guests cannot create, edit, or delete content.

Because recipes are visible to guests, do not include sensitive personal information in recipe content, comments, or photos.

Where data is stored

App data (recipes, photos, comments, and account records) is stored using Firebase (Google).

Recipe import (optional)

Family members may upload a photo or document to extract a recipe. The upload is sent to OpenAI for processing to extract recipe text and fields. We do not store the uploaded file after extraction; only the extracted recipe data is saved in the app.

What we do not do

• No advertising
• No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites
• No third-party analytics SDKs
